This web site is the "cyber" extension of a series of project aiming to keep alive the memory of Ismet Siral, one of the most important and authentic figures of the Turkish jazz history. Another major aim of the site is to provide a communication medium for the international documentary project under the theme "Ismet Siral & Creative Music Studio (CMS)" which is in preparation.

The project that initiated on December 2001 with researches on Ismet Siral's life and Turkish jazz history thereby, broadened its focus, then, to cover the legendary story of CMS where Siral taught between 1978 and 1980.
